Uranium Resources is primarily engaged in the business of acquiring, exploring, developing and mining uranium properties, using the in situ recovery (ISR) mining process. At Dec 31 2011, Co. had two licensed ISR processing facilities in South Texas: Kingsville Dome and Rosita. In addition, through a joint venture with Cameco Resources, Co. is continuing an exploration program on the Los Finados property in Kenedy County, TX. Co. also holds a Nuclear Regulatory Commission source materials license to build and operate an ISR uranium processing facility on Co.-owned property at Crownpoint, NM. At Dec 31 2011, Co. had an estimated proven uranium reserves in South Texas of 664,000 pounds.
