Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: BIK
updated Wednesday, February 5, 3:12 PMThe SPDR S&P BRIC 40 ETF (BIK) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 487,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 72,000. Shares of BIK were off about 0.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Vale (VALE), trading up about 2.4% with over 24.0 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Petrobras (PBR), down about 2% on volume of over 17.1 million shares. ICICI Bank (IBN) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P BRIC 40 ETF Wednesday, trading lower by about 3%.
