VYM, PSAU: Big ETF Outflows

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Vanguard High Dividend Yield ETF (VYM), where 22,100,000 units were destroyed, or a 12.1% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VYM, in morning trading today Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) is down about 1%, and General Electric Company (GE) is lower by about 0.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the PowerShares Global Gold and Precious Metals Portfolio (PSAU), which lost 850,000 of its units, representing a 30.9% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior. Among the largest underlying components of PSAU, in morning trading today Genpact (G) is off about 1%, and Barrick Gold Corporation (ABX) is up by about 1.2%.
