Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: GNR
updated Tuesday, November 4, 1:43 PMThe SPDR S&P Global Natural Resources ETF (GNR) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 708,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 75,000. Shares of GNR were down about 0.7% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), trading down about 1.2% with over 12.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Vale (VALE), off about 3.4% on volume of over 9.8 million shares. Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 4.4% on the day, while Devon Energy (DVN) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P Global Natural Resources ETF, trading lower by about 4.9%.
