Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: GNR
updated Tuesday, December 23, 1:58 PMThe SPDR S&P Global Natural Resources ETF (GNR) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 790,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 138,000. Shares of GNR were up about 0.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), trading up about 2.6% with over 16.1 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Vale (VALE), up about 1.4% on volume of over 8.7 million shares. Teck Resources (TCK.B.CA) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 5.2% on the day, while Sesa Sterlite (SSLT) is lagging other components of the SPDR S&P Global Natural Resources ETF, trading lower by about 3.1%.
