Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: CWI
updated Tuesday, May 19, 1:41 PMThe SPDR MSCI ACWI ex-US ETF (CWI) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 495,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 137,000. Shares of CWI were down about 0.2% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Vale (VALE), trading off about 0.8% with over 20.4 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR.A), off about 6.7% on volume of over 11.5 million shares. CGI Group (GIB.A.CA) is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 3.5% on the day, while Penn West Petroleum (PWT.CA) is lagging other components of the SPDR MSCI ACWI ex-US ETF, trading lower by about 9.1%.
